I tailor lighting to the look and feel you want—using a range of soft, controlled light sources to create natural, flattering results in any setting.

Most sessions fall into one of three styles:

  • Soft – clean, even light with a natural, timeless feel (great for families and lifestyle sessions)

  • Classic – balanced, polished lighting with subtle depth (ideal for headshots and professional use)

  • Dramatic – more directional, high-contrast lighting for a bold, cinematic look

I’ll guide you toward what works best based on your goals, location, and environment—but if you have a specific style in mind, I can absolutely tailor the lighting to match it.

The goal is always the same: lighting that feels natural, intentional, and elevates the final image without feeling overproduced.

What To Expect - Photography

Before Your Session

Come prepared so we can focus on creating great images right away.

  • Wear clean, wrinkle-free clothing that complements everyone in your group. Neutral + solid colors are best.

  • Plan hair and makeup ahead of time (if applicable)

  • Take care of small details: floss, tidy facial hair, lint check, etc.

During Your Session

My job is to make this easy, natural, and even a little fun.

  • I’ll guide you through posing, positioning, and expression

  • We’ll move quickly through a variety of looks—different angles, compositions, and moods

  • Expect a mix of directed moments and more candid, natural interactions

If you feel comfortable, it will show. Relax, trust the process, and enjoy it.

After Your Session

A fast, thoughtful delivery—so you can relive and share quickly.

  • Within 2 business days, you’ll receive a Lightroom gallery of the top picks. If you would like all the photos please ask for the EXTRA gallery with all shots from the day.

  • All images are fully edited (color, exposure, contrast) with a natural, true-to-life finish

  • Download any images in full-resolution JPEG

Take a few minutes to review everything—you may find a favorite you didn’t expect.

If you’d like small adjustments, I’m happy to make minor refinements.

Planning & Preparation - Business Presence Upgrade

To ensure a smooth and efficient shoot, we’ll align on a few key details ahead of time:

  • Scheduling:
    We recommend booking a ~4-hour window, ideally during a quieter time when the space is less busy or empty.

  • Participants:
    Please plan for the owner, at least one team member, and (if possible) at least customer or client to be available about 1 hour into the shoot.

  • On-Camera Readiness:
    Come camera-ready with appropriate wardrobe, grooming, and any brand-specific styling.

  • Pre-Shoot Guidance:
    You’ll receive a detailed shot list, schedule, and interview prompts in advance so you know exactly what to expect.

  • Your Vision:
    We’ll collaborate beforehand to align on your goals, priorities, and brand direction to ensure everything we capture is tailored to your business.
